Apple Store, iTunes (not 'iTunes Music') Store down in anticipation of 'Showtime' special event

Both the online Apple Store and the iTunes Music Store are down for updates in advance of today's special "Showtime" event in San Francisco. To add further fuel to the speculation that Apple will add movies to its downloadable menu, the word "Music" does not appear in the name of the former iTMS. Some websites are adding last-minute predictions to what they expect to be announced, including price-bands for movies depending on whether they'll be played on your iPod or TV; new widescreen, touch-screen iPods with Bluetooth, and "TubeCast" which appears to be a way to stream the new content to your television.
