RandomMaccess at Macworld: RM Publisher Chuck La Tournous to judge 'MacBrainiac Challenge;' perform at 'Cirque du Mac'
January 5, 2007 | by Staff
RandomMaccess will, of course, be represented at Macworld San Francisco. In addition to our usual Expo coverage, RM Publisher Chuck La Tournous will once again perform in "The Macworld All-Star Band" and judge the "MacBrainiac Challenge," hosted by Chris Breen.
The All-Stars will perform at Cirque du Mac 4.0, an exclusive, invitation-only party sponsored by our friends at The Mac Observer and Backbeat Media. The Macworld All-Star Band consists of IDG VP and Macworld Expo Head Honcho Paul Kent; Macworld and Playlist Magazine Editor, author and podcaster-extraordinaire Christopher Breen; Mac author and Houston Chronicle Columnist Bob LeVitus; TMO President and Founder Dave Hamilton; TMO's Editor-in-Chief Bryan Chaffin; Mac Networking and Administration Guru Duane Straub, and our own RandomMaccess Publisher Chuck La Tournous. The location and time of the party are a highly guarded secret (If you have to ask, you can't go), but RM staffers will have a limited supply for sharp-eyed (and lucky) readers.
La Tournous will also serve as judge for the MacBrainiac Challenge, the popular Mac-centric gameshow hosted by Christopher Breen. The MacBrainiac Challenge, now in its fourth (fifth?) year, pits teams of Mac luminaries against each other in a combination trivia contest/geek bake-off that Breen makes an incredible amount of fun. This year's show is on Thursday, January 11th from 9-10 a.m.
